Facebook’s Lightworkers Community

Facebook's Lightworkers Community
An aspect of “the larger community” which I have not seen acknowledged elsewhere it that “good connections” expand COUNTER INTUITIVELY with large groups (larger than a street, primitive family or tribal circle of a few dozen members) All communities (mankind in general) share important things in common:
e.g. We who use the Internet (and Facebook’s in particular) tacitly affirm a faith in the possibility that modern literacy, free exchange of ideas, images, information and data is in itself, “a good thing” for self and others.
But the common things which everyone needs and agrees on (good air, good water food and health) however vital, becomes perceived as mundane and uninteresting…
The more we as unique individuals pursue uncommon interests, finding “soul-mates” (or intellectual opponents to argue with on specialist arcane subjects) in a given “small community” becomes less and less likely..
Meeting those who share everyday information and beliefs (however essential) is not at all remarkable in a small town or village. Whereas meeting someone UNEXPECTEDLY who shares one’s “uncommon” and “obscure” minority interests, personal history, ideals, religious values is felt VERY rewarding and it is these SPECIAL CONNECTIONS which seem to most cement people’s deeper loyalties and affections.
Before the internet, being a “Radio Ham” was like this. (about 1 in 3000 of the general population) and a travelling “Ham” would meet unqualified friendship and welcoming friendship and hospitality anywhere in the world being treated by complete strangers as if they were an “old school friend” or “distant relative”..
An ostensible Businessman or Zionist meeting a Muslim, Fascist or Communist might be astounded by the amount they unexpectedly are in the deepest of spiritual motivation and agreement.
The special case of finding delight in discovering “good information” and meeting complete strangers whom one discovers are “soul mates” and “fellow travellers” is accompanied by its PERCEIVED RARITY.
The chances of two people sharing the same day as their birthday is 1 in 365.22 .. We INTUITIVELY think the chances of meeting someone with the same birthday is pretty rare .. (say 1 in approximately 183) Whereas there is a simple mathematical proof that with any random selection of 22 people there is a “1 in 2″ chance of two having the same birthday and with 100 people it is 3000 to 1 PROBABLE..
This arithmetic applies to meeting people in unusual places. The chances of meeting a particular person may be billions to one against, but we often hear of the strangest of meetings. Over 30 years ago a London friend was filming at the Taj Mahal in India when her brother strolled by, both unaware that the other was abroad! Another met a next door neighbour in a Bazaar in Baghdad . A third was walking through woods in Nepal and met a friend from Bath sitting meditating in a small clearing.
The same is true with meeting strangers who share esoteric and arcane views, experience, knowledge and opinions.
With larger communities the chances of meeting “exceptional others” is MUCH HIGHER than we INTUITIVELY expect.
Facebook with +600 million souls has a “minority esoteric community” which even if only 1 in 1000 users, is a huge number to find in one place!

Lightworker Community Australia
An initiative to create a community of lightworkers in Australia…
Lightworker Community
Lightworkers coming together and joining forces is something that’s been starting to happen all over the globe… faster and faster… lightworker communities are forming everywhere with the intention of helping heal the world.
Australian Lightworker, Arts Eco Community,
wellness center and retreat.
The vision for the property is to develop a 100% self sustainable high density lightworker arts eco community, hotel and wellness center in Australia, incorporating its own internal economy and production of a variety of goods, crafts, produce, events and services which can be supplied to the broader community. A community for artists, performers, healers and visionaries. All tools for the trades to be developed and available on-site, such as but not limited to costume production, massage rooms, treatment consulting rooms, and technical trades labs. Regular markets, festivals, performances, and events will be held on site to generate funds for the community and the performers/organizers. Liquor license and our own bar is included.
This is a fantastic initiative that will be of interest to many lightworkers, not only in Australia, but to lightworkers around the world. May this concept flourish and help inspire other lightworker communities to come together.
The Australian Lightworker community is seeking the interest of spiritually minded lightworkers, health workers, and artists who would like to become a foundation owner and community builder for a new “Community of Light” situated atop Mount Dandenong in Sherbrooke Forest, Australia (Located 30km East of Melbourne, in the Dandenong Ranges.) Approximate shared cost is $200 per room per week.
